January Restore Balance with Fiona and Orla.
We’re excited to announce another date for our Fitness and Yoga retreat! Move and rejuvenate at our retreat in the New Year. Located in Tranquility House, nestled amongst the beautiful setting of the Cooley mountains and Carlingford Lough, Co. Louth. We’re bringing you the best of both worlds by combining fitness and yoga. This retreat is ideal if you like to be active but also enjoy down time.
Incorporating HIIT workouts, yoga and hiking in the beautiful surrounds, this two night retreat is centred around a healthy body and mind. We will also be doing cooking demonstrations and will give lots of nutritional tips along the way.
With daily activities comes the need for rest and relaxation, this sanctuary offers a peaceful break from busy life and features to make sure you really put your feet up after a busy Christmas! Having worked up an appetite, you will be treated to the most delicious, healthy vegetarian meals each day.
Hosted by Personal Trainer Fiona Peelo and Yoga Teacher Orla McAdam, you will return home from this healthy retreat a new you.

What to Bring :
As some activities will be outside, it is super important that everyone is wrapped up well so plenty of warm clothes necessary. Workout Gear (leggings/shorts/swimwear etc), Hiking boots/runners, full rain gear, casual clothes for dinner. We will provide yoga mats at the retreat but feel free to bring your own mat if preferred.
Meet the Team :
Orla McAdam- Zenergy Yoga
Orla is the owner of Zenergy Yoga Studio Blackrock.
Orla has always had an active lifestyle from competitive swimming to mountain climbing in Nepal, Orla pushed the boundaries of her body for too long. Having experienced the rigours and punishing training for Iron Man Triathlons, injuries, inflexibility and stress had become a daily part of her life. Then she found Yoga almost 10 years ago and yoga has been a part of her life ever since. Orla realised that she wanted others to experience the peace and happiness that Yoga has brought her. She travelled to India sereral time to immerse herself in her training and studying , gaining significant experience and discipline. Her studio Zenergy opened in April 2013 where she has regular practice with her students. Over the retreat weekend, you can expect to experience Orla’s high energy and enthusiasm for life both outdoors and on the mat.
Fiona Peelo – Metabolic Fitness
Fiona is an owner of Metabolic Fitness where she works as a Personal Trainer. Her high energy and positive outlook to life is contagious and uplifting to those around her. Expect her classes to be fun and challenging. Fiona is a lover of nature and everything outdoorsy. She loves passing on her passion for the outdoors and organising weekend hiking trips around Ireland.
Fiona will bring you through workouts which will not just challenge you for the weekend, but that you can take with you and repeat again and again to maintain your fitness.
Dave Peelo- Metabolic Fitness
Dave is owner and head coach at Metabolic Fitness one of Dublins most reputable personal training gyms. He draws upon his 18 years experience as a trainer and vast knowledge base to enable individuals feel and function at their most optimal level. He’s a firm believer in the phrase “practice what you preach” and is known for getting the best out of everyone he works with, something which he’s looking forward to bringing to our retreat.
