Alot of the time when teaching, I hear students giving it large about tight hips and I have always intended to dedicate some serious time to delving deep into some hip action other than just a two hour workshop. So this is your time to give some serious attention to that stubborn pair .

This five week block is going to be all about the hips, getting some deep rotation into the joint . We will work with a set routine maybe adding one asana for another as the weeks go by , but by the end of it you will have a yoga routine you can practice at home ,a deeper knowledge of whats going on in the hips and how to work them into gentle and sublime release. If you have any niggly knee injuries or pain, tight hips could well be a major part of the problem.

This series of classes will be strong but suitable for all ,with plenty of alternatives to all asanas . It will be a detoxing progressive vinyasa sequence always working with the breath ,bringing us into a deep moving meditation. Just bring a towel and a smile … and your magnificent selves.

It will be a joy to see you all again on a weekly basis.”
