Beginners Yoga

Next course begins Tuesday 1st September 2020.


Next 6 week beginners course begins on the 1st Sept 2020 at 7.30pm- 8.40pm and runs for 6 weeks.

Please ensure you update your current details – phone numbers and emails for contact tracing if required
• Please come ready for class , showers facilities will not be available for use but toilet facilities will
• All students must have a prior reservation as space is limited
• We have a MASK TO MAT policy. Please wear a mat while entering and leaving the studio or when leaving class to use the bathroom. Wearing a mask during class is optional.
• The practice spaces are 2m apart from the mat centre , so nose to nose direction. Please do not walk across the mat spaces out of respect for your fellow yogis.
• Hands on adjustments are not allowed at this time
• Hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance to the studio area and we ask that you continue to wash your hands
• Please arrive on time for class. door will be locked at the beginning of each class Props and supplies
• We ask that you bring your own mats and props ….belts, blocks and blankets recommended and to arrive with a full water bottle.
• We will sell some studio blocks and at reception at a discounted price which you will be able to buy if you find it helpful in your practice in studio and at home
• Studio Blankets will not be used at this time .





Booking your space in advance is advised as these courses are very popular and space is very limited due to COVID 19 distance recomemdations.

Catherine Whyte is a 300 hr RTC yoga  alliance vinyasa flow and pregnancy teacher. Catherine has been practicing for 15 years. Catherine combines a wealth of knowledge and experience in her practice. Whether you want to improve your flexibility, accelerate recovery after an injury, or simply make a positive lifestyle change, Catherine has something to offer you.

It is aimed at any person who has an interest in learning the basis tools to begin their journey to learning about Yoga.
The 6 week course will build week by week to help us gain an understanding of the reasons why we should practice yoga.
We will work on breathing exercises each week to help us relax and reduce stress in our Minds and bodies.
Each week we will also look at several poses to help us strengthen our bodies and help us work with injuries or misalignment in our postures.
